try blaming the GOP. They did this.
Look I have been on here since 2004. I rarely comment and have only written two posts, but I read a lot everyday. I am old, female and a dyed in the wool democrat. I have been a political junkie since before I could vote, which in my day was 21. My parents were raving democrats. I have a lovely picture of my Mom with Hubert Humphrey. So here is my take.
I did not know much about Hillery Clinton until 1992, I wasn’t following Arkansas politics. Since that time the gop has tried to pin anything they could on her. They have spent millions of your tax dollars to try to get proof of some kind of wrong doing. They failed utterly. Let me count the ways:
Whitewater — 1992 — A failed real estate deal in which the Clintons lost $20,000
Travelgate — 1993 — Bill Clinton’s firing of seven workers attributed to ethics and record keeping problems. “ Independent Counsel Ken Starr found no blame rested with Bill Clinton. Another independent counsel scrutinized Hillary Clinton's involvement and statements about the firings but seven years after the event, he found no basis to bring any charges against her.” ( Does that name ring a bell?)
Murder of Vince Foster — 1993 — Body found in a Virginia Park. Republican shouted “Foul Play” citing ethics investigations of the Clintons. FBI, Justice Department and special prosecutors called it suicide. Yep, we got a tofer that year!
Filegate — 1996 — Investigators found hundreds of FBI files on former whitehouse workers and backgrounds of some republicans in congress. Independent counsel found no wrongdoing by the Clintons.
Benghazi — 2012 — You already know about this.
Clinton Foundation — 2015 — Authorities have not announced that that there is an investigation.
Private email server — -2015 — You have heard all of this you want to hear.
I refuse to even list Troopergate. How can anyone in their right mind blame Hillery for Bill’s peccadillos?
The gop has been telling these lies for over 20 years. Over and over and over. If a lie is repeated often enough it will be believed.
