It's just stunning.  On July 15-16-17 In Tahlequah, eastern Oklahoma; and central Oklahoma; the old all time low record was 69 in 1996, and they hit 59 F that day.  Also, the high that day was 68, which was lower than the record low.  Holy Cow!  This weather or Climate Change stuff is UN-BE-LIEV-A-BLE....!!!!!

Warning:  Thought Experiment:  What if Vietnam wouldn't agree to a truce and we were fighting there today; even after 50 years.  What if Vietnam were winning battle after battle?

Could you imagine the Democratic party, who started The Vietnam War, still in existence?  No.

The Climate War for the United States begin in 2005 with Katrina (a debatable point).  What's will 2055.  Will things get better?  HELL NO.

The Republican Climate-Change-Denier Party will also cease to exist.  The Climate War will not go away.  And it will get worse the next 50 years.  Each year more and more droughts, floods, hurricanes, crop failings and food scarcity, drinking water scarcity, etc...

On March 28, 1979 the Three Mile Island accident begane.  Why is there almost no national news coverage of this meltdown, especially in light of the Fukushima Nuclear disaster?  Nuclear power is a very dangerous way to generate electricity.  The Administration is providing 6.5 billion dollars in loan guarantees to construct 2 new nuclear reactors in Georgia.  This is part of the All of the Above US energy policy.

"The two reactors will be the first built in this country in nearly three decades.
President Obama "sees nuclear energy as a part of his carbon-free portfolio" that also includes renewable energy sources, Moniz said during a speech at the National Press Club in Washington. "We are working across the board to push the technology forward into the marketplace for all of our energy sources."

Breaking Bad Series Finale w/Poll

by Churchill

This is my guess as to what happens in the Breaking Bad series finale called "Felina".
FACTS & CLUES
Walt has lost a lot of weight so the chemo might not be working.  He may be in his last few weeks of life.
He has nothing to lose and says he has some things to take care of.
Walt is very lonely and doesn't want to die alone.  He said to the Ed one day you will come here and find me dead.  Will you give this money to my wife?
Walt goes back to his old house in broad daylight and talks to his neighbor so he doesn't mind getting caught.  She could call the police and they would be there in ten minutes.
Walt's old Gray Matter partners Elliott and Gretchen are too hard to get at so nothing happens to them.  The Ricin may be for them.
He gets Albuquerque newspapers each month.  On the front page of the newspaper was probably the murder of Andrea.  She was shot in the back of her head on her front porch. It was done with no struggle and has Todd's handiwork all over it.  Todd is a very big threat to Walter's family.

C-SPAN Washington Journal Call-In 2-7-13 Sequestration:, yes, cut the military budget

Host: Randy is an independent in Butler, Oklahoma; and Randy you're on the Washington Journal, good morning.
Randy: How're you doing?
Host:  Good, what's your thought about sequestration?
Randy:  Well I think they ought to let it go through. The military budgets have doubled in the last 12 years, and the Research and Development part of that is over 60 billion dollars. That's not buying any tanks or anything.  We've spent 200 billion on the F-22 program; the fighter that no one wants so there is plenty of things to cut there.  And yeah, go ahead and raise my taxes, I realize that gotta bring in more money and I'm a grown up and I'll just take home less money, but we got to keep the government going. And thanks for letting me talk and have a great day.

Host:  That's Randy in Butler, Oklahoma.

The ELECTORS are actually in the constitution, the political parties aren't mentioned anywhere in the constitution.

Which is the best bargain?

Okay, the GOP National Convention was pretty funny with that Clint Eastwood chair-talking baloney.

And the Big Dog was great, Obama, not so much.  But the Democrats was actually a PLANNED event and had a script, the GOP just winged it a al Eastwood.

Sixty-Five years ago,September 18, 1947, the US Army Air Corp was changed into a separate branch of the military services, the United States Air Force.

The rank structure is similar but not exactly equal to the US Army.  Members of the USAF are called airman and not soldiers.  They're generally organized as squadrons and have 200-500 personnel and 10 to 40 aircraft.

329,638 active personnel
68,872 reserve personnel
94,597 air guard personnel
