So one day in March 2015, Donald woke up and thought, “It is time for my revenge. I will now destroy the Republican party. I will show them that they cannot insult me and get away with it. They refused to show up for a debate if I was going to moderate for it. Nobody can do that to me and expect me to crawl away quietly. Now I will bring them down.”
So how will Donald do that? He plotted and planned for months for the perfect situation to have the most effect. “The first step for me is to run for the president of the United States. I will have an announcement that no one will forget. I am going to do it in Trump Tower and my speech will shock and amaze everyone. Then, I am going to be the absolutely worst, disgusting, immoral candidate ever to run for office.I am going to mirror exactly what the Republicans have become. I will be racist, misogynist, unhinged, rude, most obnoxious, dishonest, arrogant and most egotistical candidate ever seen and I will do anything, anything so that I will win the nomination. I am going to put them in a position so detestable that they will have to support me to the detriment of their political careers and they will because they do not care about America. All they care about is power and lining their pockets from special interest groups and will take the most extreme views about all issues. I will say terrible things to those I debate and then I will double down on what I say. Republican by Republican will be forced to accept me no matter what I say.” (Evil laugh.)
The campaign opened with Donald and his wife, Melania, dressed in two lampshades, coming down the escalator and he gave his speech, making sure that he turned off most Hispanics (one of the larger voting blocks} by calling them criminals and rapists and then throwing in that he assumed some were nice people which made his racist language worse. He said he would build a wall on our southern border and make Mexico pay for it. The total insanity of his proposals made most people think that his campaign was a joke.
Debate by debate he bullied, insulted, ridiculed and knocked down his opponents as they cowered under his onslaught, till he was the last man standing, throwing out outrageous soundbites that offended and frightened the nation. Rally by rally, interview by interview, he attracted the most fringe groups to back him. By the time he won the nomination, Republicans were at each other’s throats. He was so awful that he made sure that no one outside his small circle would be hat his convention. He engineered the biggest flop of a convention in history, By the time it was over he he had alienated Hispanics, African Americans, women and just about every other group outside of white supremacists, uneducated blue collar workers and others of that kind. He made sure he put on entertaing rallies akept up the outrageous comments so the media had him on agave very little attention to the other candidates.
Then began the main campaign where he was facing a woman! Hillary Clinton was one of the most threatening candidates to men in the Republican party. Their worst nightmare. They had spent so much time trying to bring Hillary down with false scandals and lies and now all they had to keep her from getting into office was the horror that was Trump.
Trump.knowing that he did not really want to be president, now began closing the final teeth of the trap that would destroy the party. He amassed around him the biggest crooks in media, politics and business. Then he pulled some of the stupidest, fanatical and demented surrogates that he could find. He used the Republican penchant for lying against them, knowing that reasonable people would be infuriated by the total immorality of Trump and therefore the Republican party,
Finally, he made sure that more and more documents and videos came out showing the worst about Donald as well as performing poorly in debates. He refused to prepare for the debates and then doubled down on negative points brought up in the debates so that daily new horrors came out about him right up to the election, making sure he would not win but that Republicans would be tripping all over themselves trying to protect their careers and seats in the House and Senate. He made sure that they were so embarrassed that they would have a hard time holding office after the campaign failed. And at the end the Republican party crumbled and Hillary and the Democrats were running the country again. That revenge is the price they paid for not letting him moderate and because the Republicans had become so dishonest and corrupt that they fell right into his hands.
