I think when the environmentalist write their history books, President Obama's pick for Secretary of the Interior, Ken Salazar, will be written as the greenest Secretary of Interior the nation has ever had. (Wonder if its his Colorado roots? :D

Michelle Obama visitó México para su primera visita internacional. Este es el primer viaje de la señora Obama en el escenario internacional, sin el Presidente.

Al aterrizar, fue recibida por el Presidente de México, Felipe Calderón, y la Primera Dama de México Margarita Zavala. Ella también fue recibida por decenas de jóvenes estudiantes, y la señora Obama saludó a cada uno de ellos con un abrazo antes de abandonar el asfalto.

Looks like President Obama is hitting his stride in his presidency. Stabilizing the economy, making the tough, but often criticized decisions needed to steer our ship of state out of the abyss, health care reform (as messy as it was, its done!), restored diplomacy, trying to make the best decisions with two poorly executed wars handed to him, an exciting new direction for NASA, protecting LGBT partner's rights to access each other in hospitals, and now trying to bring Financial Reform into the win column.

Well today, ~~Happy~~ President Obama learned how to ~~putt~~ bring down the Presidential hammer to get things done. Uh-oh!!!

I'm gonna make a change for once in my life. Its gonna feel real good, its gonna make a difference. Gonna make it right.

Change is a muthafucker, isn't it America?

It the craziest roller coaster ride I've ever been on. Move the hell over Kings Dominion. Change got you beat by a mile. The many ups and downs, twist and turns, dips and flips. Its dizzying as hell.

But boy, oh boy, when it happens, its a......

BFD!!!

As I watch a lot the priorities (notice I didn't say promises) get checked off President Obama's to fix list, I can't help but to think back to the days of the campaign.

Staffers, such as myself, volunteers, supporters, etc. went through quite a roller coaster ride. From the primaries to the general election. It was one high/low, twist/turn after the next. A lot of supporters thought they were the only ones on the ledge.

President Obama left Camp David, late Saturday evening, en route to Afghanistan. This was his first trip to the country as Commander-in-Chief, and came on the heels of just passing historic health care reform.

One thing for sure, he has proven he can walk and chew gum at the same time.
