You must listen to General Keane, one of the planners of the war in Iraq, and Defense Policy Board members, break from the Bush Administration script to shockingly take responsibility for the lack of planning for the insurgency, during an interview with Lisa Mullins of PRI's "The World" yesterday (April 11). He refuses to blame the intelligence community, and bares the responsibility himself. It's the last four minutes of the eight minute interview. I couldn't find a transcript, but the audio is available at the below link:

"Iraq Interview"
Host Lisa Mullins speaks to General Jack Keane, former vice-chief of staff of the US Army about the changing climate in Iraq.
Jack Keane:
We clearly didn't see the insurgency coming. And that clearly is a fault on our part. All of us who had a hand in this, have to bear the responsibility for that. (Much more.)
