Today is the last day for early voting in Nevada, and the heat is on. After that, we have three days to coordinate an attack on the polling places that makes the Tattaglias Republicans wet themselves. Two of those days, we'll have the support of about 5 bazillion California carpetbaggers.**
While this diary is about Nevada, it applies to lots of other places. Ohio, Florida, and (please, oh, please G-d) Arizona. So, all the swing states are going to the mattresses, this is the last five days.
Let me be all touchy-feely-San Francisco-values for a moment: Do you believe you've done enough? Have you left anything on the road? Because this is it, this is crunch time, this is where we "separate the men from the boys, the music from noise, the rose from the poison ivy". Have you done enough? Have I? I can't answer that question for you; for me, I keep finding myself in Reno, weekend after weekend. I keep saying, they're doing good over there, no need for me next Saturday, and yet, there I am again. Could I have done more? Sure. I still have a job I didn't quit, I still have a bank account I didn't contribute, but if Obama loses Washoe county, I'll be very surprised.
