Goofing around late last night on Facebook I came across one of my long time theatre friend’s post.  My friend Bob not only is an excellent actor he also happens to be a great lawyer with a brilliant mind.  And when I came across his posting, well I just about did a back flip.
Follow me over the orange sawhorse to get to the meat of the dealio.

A Frame on a Wall

by MadAsHellMaddie

I am reminded of something this morning I haven’t thought about in awhile.

Being an Irish Catholic born in the 60's to an already large family, certain things were a "given".  You would always be out of milk, there was never enough food and along with a Crucifix in every room you had at least 3 framed portrait on your wall at all times.

One portrait would be of you and your siblings with at least one family member having a really bad haircut or someone with their eyes closed.  When you have that many kids it is hard to get one good photo of all of them - especially if some are in the throws of a wicked puberty.

In yet another sparkling display of mendacity and utter bullshit, the Bush Administration has told US Foreign Service Workers that they cannot attend Obama’s Speech in Germany.

The US State Department has deemed Obama’s speech in Berlin a ""partisan political activity" prohibited under its regulations for those serving overseas."

Some of you Kossacks know I sent around an action item on Sunday morning via mybarackobama.com regarding an idiot who was selling racist t-shirts on EBay.

The guy was selling those monkey with a banana t-shirts and even after more than several of us reported the seller, EBay did nothing.

I had originally emailed the Seller to ask him if he knew the shirts were racist just to see how he would respond.  He responded with "did you know you are stupid?"   I then responded that he was reported and he wrote back to say he reported me and to leave him alone.  I know that others have contacted this guy as I saw some postings on the mybarackobama boards.

This guy is a real piece of work and now 4 days later and the asshat is back at it.

John Edwards hates Bruce Springsteen.  He said so.  Well John Edwards himself didn’t say so but his Iowa Strategist Mudcat Saunders or Mudflap Saunders, whatever, said so.  Well he actually didn’t say that exactly but pretty close to it.

(Side Bar:  Hey Southern White Men!  Please stop going by lame Southern Stereotype White Men nicknames like Mudcat or Bubba.  They don’t help us in the long run and make you look rather "white southern male stereotype" on the Tee Vee.  I mean why not put on a Boob Inspector hat and call it a day for crapsake?)

Now, I know that there will be some sort of tape, repeat or transcript up on this soon, but I also know these days we don’t need any real back up. Regardless it is there non the less.

With Apologies to all.  Sorry this is going to be fast and loose as I am at my part time job.  Please forgive me for lack of personal detail here.  Busy day in Madland.

According to Rawstory:

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee voted Thursday to hold two top aides to President Bush in contempt of Congress for refusing to cooperate in its probe of fired federal prosecutors.

On a largely party-line vote of 11-7, the Democratic-led panel sent contempt citations against White House Chief of Staff Josh Bolten and former Deputy Chief of Staff Karl Rove to the full Senate for consideration.

As with many of Bush's battles with the Democratic-led Senate, the president may ultimately prevail since his fellow Republicans may be able to block the citations with a procedural hurdle.

Well, how predictable?  All hell is breaking lose, the "I" word has been spoken, shouted and screamed.  Due to the latest antics of the White House and the fact that we just didn’t go all "level red" bat shit crazy over today’s London terror type possible attempt, it is time once again to trot out the Crazy McCain Dog and Pony Road Show!

McCain stated tonight that he was heading to Iraq again next week!  Great!  Just what our soldiers need to be doing on the 4th of July but cart Crazy around.

I Resigned

by MadAsHellMaddie

Well not so much as "resigned" as "got fired". But that's cool.  See, I was stealing from the company's clients but the problem was not that I stole but that I got caught. Oh well.  No biggie.  Everyone at my work does it.  It's pretty much the norm around here.  It's just the way it is in my business.  It's what we do.

THE TRUE RELIGIOUS RIGHT GOT PUNKED

What is really telling is the so called Religious Right leaders have been totally silent on this scandal, all week.

Although I do believe that there are some decent fundi's out there (even though they creep me out), who just want to live a decent life and be decent people, the vast majority of these folks have been snookered and the others, including their leaders, are corrupt.

More anger after the jump.

Let's play conspiracy  - Mexamericanada Special Edition

Put your tin foil hats away and put on a helmet cause this is real.

During the past week I came across an article I was not able to find again.  I tried to do some research on it and the article I  - well doing my usual methods of searching couldn't bring it back up.  I need to start saving these things.

Anyhoo.  The gist of this missing article was a story about Cheney meeting with Canada and Mexico about security.  The premise was to have all 3 countries working as a team - using all the same technology in unison.  How sweet and WTF?
