Kossacks, I have a bit of a favor to ask.
I was reading my college UNews this afternoon over some lunch and I read this ridiculous article from a student who believes Republicans are on their way back up the scale for 2008.
As you may have imagined, I instantly messaged the editor of the newspaper to see if I could write an Op-Ed response to the article. The good news is that I can, but the bad news is that it's due tomorrow at 3p.m, and I have a full slate of classes with only an hour free tomorrow.
I know I might be asking too much for this, but would you mind reading the article and posting a comment here and there which I will consider including in my response. I'm not really looking for quotes so much as I am looking for some brainstorming insights on how to respond. In other words, I might use an idea you have here or there without directly quoting you. (Sorry!)
My school has about 8,000 students, and since it is only the second week of school, I imagine there are a lot of freshman and sophomores who are still formulating their political beliefs.
By the way, did I mention these same underclassmen will be voting next year in the general election in the swing state of Missouri?
Oh yeah. Leave me some thoughts.
