As a follow up to our great work on the photoshopped BC04 ad, I propose that we go after the utterly fake "flag" that is prominently featured on all of Bush and Co.'s stickers, lawn signs, websites, etc. I couldn't figure out how to include a graphic, so I've posted a link to the Bush store (I think y'all can handle it!):
Bush's Fake Flag Paraphernalia
As you can see, Bush's "Flag" has just 7 stripes (not 13) and but 20 stars (instead of 50). You'd think that folks who spend so much time wrapped in the flag and periodically propose amendments to prevent its desecration would know what it looks like, no? Maybe they are trying to communicate the fact that they represent a minority of Americans, or would like to roll back the clock to 1818 (the last time there were only 20 American states)? I plan to innocently ask about the flag at the BC04 table in my town this weekend, but wouldn't it be great if Bush's shoddy and fraudulent patriotism, crystallized in the image of the fake flag, became a big story this weekend?
