I don’t believe Bolton is a coward, or a rat, or a loser, or anything else like that. I, and you, saw how the senate brushed everything away during impeachment. What makes a person believe they would not of done the same to Bolton’s testimony? We see how they treat anyone who goes against the president and his interests. Romney is a pariah, McCain has been all but forgotten and left undefended by people who claimed to be his dearest friends. If that pattern holds true, Bolton would of been toast, roasted for weeks and no change to the impeachment outcome would of occurred. Any other thoughts on the matter don’t really make much logical sense.
So how does he make sure an unfit person does not win re-election? From my perspective he saved his testimony for a book, due to be released in the election year, and even pulled a slightly less then legal maneuver where drama is brought up about the release, a court proceeding, and plenty of news coverage where the Administration appears desperate to suppress the book without having any chance to since it has already shipped. This action has supplied a forth scandal to add to covid 19, his reaction to the protests and the tanking economy. This also brought up the old scandals to rehash, just a couple of months before the election.
I am not a Bolton supporter nor an apologist, but I do believe this theory makes more sense then he just wants money. Everything I have read about the man is he is a patriot and does love his country. He is also very smart and his main focus in life seems to be war, either with Iran or North Korea, so he may think in more of a tactical sense when it comes to politics and how his actions may cause the most harm to the president. This could just tank trump’s numbers in the polls a little bit more. My two cents.
My apologies to anyone that has advanced this theory before, I have not read any here or anywhere else.
