So here i was, going in the voting booth, hoping to vote for Walter Mondate. After not finding him on the ballot, i became disgruntled and started looking for Bill Clinton. I assumed he was running for president again, as he's been all over TV, talking about "The Clinton Plan for (insert issue)" and why it would be the best plan for the country to build a bridge back to the 21st century. When there was no Bill Clinton on the ballot, in an act of desperation, and pushed the touch screen marked "Obama", because his name sounded really cool and gave me hope. After I pressed the Obama button, the machine said that I had voted for Ronald Reagan!!!
I was shocked, fuming, and couldn't believe that the state of Virginia in collusion with the electronic voting machine had stolen my vote and given it to Reagan! This was particularly upsetting because Walter Mondale was my first choice! How could this happen? I talked to everyone else in line, as we had all waited 4 hours to vote, (Virginia must not have prepared to have this level of turnout on super Tuesday), and many of us said that our Mondale votes had in fact gone to Reagan. I would rather have voted for Paris Hilton.
How could this be? I will never trust Virginia voting again!
