This election cycle has shown us all one thing. You can say the worst, most vile statements possible and get plenty of free coverage from the media. T-rump(I refuse to even use his real (not really, I believe it really was Drumpt of something) name) has spouted off the most vile statements, it’s like he’s playing with people just to prove how horrible people really are, but I don’t think he’s that smart. And his followers show me just how awful many American people are. I knew some existed, but really this proves that America is full of racists.
Even now that Sanders has been steadily rising in the polls, and doing so without using a super pac, he still gets very little coverage. HRC gets the vast majority of the dem coverage, her and all her millions of super pac funds. The small amount of coverage Bernie Sanders does receive tends to be dismissive. For instance Bernie followers are all under 30 college kids. Really?? I am close to 60, my friends who also support Sanders are all over 40. And he’s too liberal. Why is it bad to be liberal, to actually care if people have health care, or seniors have enough food to eat, and children not starving. Why should we not wish that the people are not destitute. That our children are not going to be in debt the rest of their lives just to get a decent education.
I have nothing against HRC, I don’t care about Benghazi, or her emails, she just doesn’t give me any confidence that she would actually try to help people like myself. Plus I feel that she would be more inclined to put us at war again. We are too old to fight wars, but my daughter and son in law are not. Yes she has fought for issues around women, and for that I thank her. But really Bernie wants to fight for us all, gay, straight, black, white, old or young. That’s true equality. If you lift up everyone, then we all benefit.
During the 2008 cycle, I admit I was pretty stoked, I thought we were getting someone who would make it better for us little guys. And really I think he wanted to originally, but in reality he still was of the privileged class. Yes he worked hard to get there, but honestly it was a bit easier back then to actually succeed. Today it’s almost impossible for the little guy to get ahead. We are not all Rhodes scholars, and we can’t all get a scholarship from an ivy league college. And most don’t even want that, we all just want a chance to succeed.
Me, I just don’t want to starve when I retire. I want to be able to afford to visit a doctor if needed without worrying that we wont eat that week. And I want my grandchildren (if any ever come) to get a decent education without paying more than a home would cost.

T-rump’s slogan is “Make America Great Again” He should change it to “Make America Hate Again” because that’s what he is pushing.
