Would Jesus have lamented "they're attacking my identity?"
Would Jesus have complained about "a war on my culture"?
The purpose of Christianity is to imitate a life of Christ.
It's not about identity.
It's not about lifestyle.
It's not about culture.
The purpose of Christianism is to perpetuate an exclusive club, driven by lust for punishment & snooping & resentment, envy & judgement (which may or may not include no-bid contracts, an intrusive & self-entitled network of citizen informants, STASI, and apology-as-policy after the Dirty Wars have "disappeared" millions).
George Bernard Shaw famously quipped, "The last Christian died on the Cross."
What would Jesus say about Christianism?
