When we first uploaded to YouTube our parrot Smokey it was just to show him in action to some friends and family on the East Coast. When the hit counter reached 100 we were amazed. Who were these people watching our bird? Then thanks to DKos and Wonkette he went viral and suddenly CNN did a piece, Stephanie Miller talked about him, and our favorite Chris Matthews played a clip. Smokey on Tweety, what symmetry.
Perhaps it has all gone to our heads, but once we hit 100,000 we thought how great if we can make it to 200,000 by election day. And now with less than two weeks to go, we're over 190,000 and it looks like Yes, we can.
