Okay, so I've been following the race in the PA-05 pretty closely. A few weeks ago, I was reading this blog post from PA-05 candidate Mark B. McCracken and noticed that he had introduced a snazzy line of sweatshirts for his campaign. And no matter what candidate I'm leaning toward in any given race, I'm all about collecting the chum. So, at a public event not too long ago, I picked one up from the McCracken table.
So yesterday, the shirt is sitting over the back of my chair, and I'm surfing McCracken's site, and came across that ol' sweatshirt post, which I read for a second time. I'm a big union buff, so I read with interest when the post wandered in that direction:
"On manufacturing policies, I believe we must get back to manufacturing more products here in the United States. Our economy worked best when products were "Made in the USA."
"Rock on, Mark," I thought to myself.
Then, on a whim, I pulled that green sweatshirt off of my chair and glanced at the tag. "MADE IN/HECHO EN/FABRIQUE AUX MEXICO." I was dumbstruck for a minute, and then found a camera. Pictures below the fold:
