The Michigan Canvassing Board today rejected 200,000 signatures to overturn its republican-led state takeover of the state's elected municipal governments. It thought the font was too small. The font was, in fact, compliant, though, of course, even very small font wouldn't change the fact that 200,000 people signed it. Obviously, then, the Canvassing board needs to hear from the rest of the nation about the giant dump it took on the concept of democratic government today. Personally, I think reporters need to have pictures of postal officials delivering thousands of letters of protest written in 999 point font. You can send them to: Norman D. Shinkle, Vice Chair, Board of State Canvassers, c/o Michigan Board of Elections 430 W Allegan E. Lansing 48918.
