So you think Romney won.

by looking and listening

I have listened to the pundits and read the diaries.  The overwhelming sentiment is that President Obama lost the debate and will probably lose the election. He  didn't fight back. He didn't call out the lies. He didn't, he didn't, he didn't.

On the other hand, Romney nailed it, Romney did, Romney did , Romney did..

I have one question. Did Romney change your mind about who you will vote for in Nov.?  Do you think he change all of the Obama voter's minds?  All the women will now vote for Romney, because he made them feel safe again about their lady parts?  All the seniors will vote for Romney because he made them feel safe , too. And the 47% percent have all forgotten that he called them slackers, losers, and boot lickers.  All those folks that have ACA ( Obama Cares) have all been swayed by Romney's smooth talk and will now cast their lot with him.

The Latinos and the African Americans are all with Romney now.

Did Romney change your mind? If not, then what exactly did he win tonight?  I always thought debators won win the audience was swayed to think like the winner.

Romney did not win the debate because he did not sway my mind or my vote.

Here’s the biblical definition for recognizing the anti-Christ spirit.  The Holy Bible tells all professing Catholics, Protestants to include Baptists, Methodists, Episcopalians, Greek Orthodox and all the rest how to tell if a person is against Jesus Christ.   I have included three of the many scriptures that all these professing Christians are aware of, but choose to momentarily toss aside so that they can vote for Romney and against a God believing Christian that is President Obama.

Looking for a job?

by looking and listening

This is an email I received today. Okay it's not one of those chain things. You don't have to send this to twelve people. I trust that I am not out of line by sharing this . If am, then I won't feel bad if the sheriff decides to hide the whole thing .

More below the fold.  UPDATE: Democracy for America is seeking applicants from: Montana, Iowa, Maine, North Dakota, Florida, Oregon, Virginia, Connecticut, Delaware, Indiana, Georgia, and Arkansas.

I will start off by stating that this is my opinion. My research is based on my life as a 50+ woman, wife, mother of six grown children, grandmother of six grandchildren, college graduate, 'Nam Era vet, African American born and raised in the south. I have travelled much of the eastern seaboard, living in New England and the Mid Atlantic. I have also lived in the Midwest. This is my first diary as I have decided to add my voice to the chorus of my fellow Americans that are concerned about health care.

I have read many of the diaries on health care reform. There is a lot of folks that believe single payer is the only answer. Others believe let's get what we can first which is more likely the public option. Both sides have numerated and quoted various sources of information to support their choice. Others, I am usually in this group, doesn't fully understand all of the details and wonder why the other two groups are screaming at each other. I would like to add another flavor if you will to both options.

Insurance is a legalized form of gambling in my opinion. The acturaies are paid to know the odds of having to pay out. So if you have a pre-existing condition you can't play. The insurance companies pick an choose who can 'bet on their health, their lives, their houses and their cars'.
