I have lived in a dictatorship in Latin America, where you really could be shot for being against government. In a real dictatorship, middle aged and senior people do not go to the streets to be shot. They have too much to lose, too many people who depend on them. When things get really, really bad, the young people, with no kids to care for and a lot of naivete about life might take the streets - as we have seen in Iran - and they do get shot to death.
Think about it. If you think someone is trying to kill you or a member of your family FOR REAL, what would you do ?
If the teabaggers did believe their lies, they would either come armed and start shooting democrats or hole up in a compound, armed to the teeth. David Koresh and his gang were afraid for their lives. The guy who shot 3 policemen dead in his house was afraid.
But not those middle class gladbaggers on townhalls. They are not afraid of being put to death. Heck, the townhall screamers aren't even afraid of being arrested for disorderly conduct.
