New Rep. Nancy Boyda (KS-02) was in a firestorm over comments that she said on the ABC News program with Gibson.  In it she says that she sould vote in favor of the funding for President Bush's troop surge.  Today she came out to clarify her position and apologize....kinda.

Louisiana became the 7th state in the United States to pass a law that would "trigger" an abortion ban if Row v. Wade is overturned.  It is clear that this is again something that is something to be very concerned about for many reasons, including the fact that the Governor of Lousiana is a Democrat.

Another Party Switch in Kansas

The mass exodust from the GOP in Kansas continues with another former Republican deciding to switch political parties and join the Kansas Democratic Party.  It is once again an indication of two things: 1)  Kansas political climate is for Moderates and 2) The GOP is continually becoming to conservative for the tastes of general Kansans.
