FDR was, arguably, the most consequential man who ever lived. That's saying a lot, but look at his record: the New Deal, the welfare state, saving free market capitalism, massive public infrastructure projects, trade union laws, oh and don't forget, leading the Allied powers in crushing Fascism and saving democracy in Europe and beyond.
