This is a little late, but after hearing some more clips from the oral argument of Citizens United v FEC, I needed to vent about this. I think we should work harder to expose the apparent motivations of partisan Supreme Court justices like Scalia and Roberts.
There has been a lot of talk recently about patriotism -- what it is, who has it, etc. I feel like a lot of it is self-serving and destructive and I just wanted to add my voice.
Is it me or do people seem to gratuitously refer to Obama's "Ivy League education?" I'm no expert on the subtleties of racial politics, but this seems frighteningly similar to the "articulate" label. I guess it could just be a way to tag him as liberal, but even that is pretty hypocritical (see stats below).

A proposal: make the second-place presidential candidate the running mate.
Obama is the presumptive nominee. We've all gotten used to wishing and hoping that the party leaders would step in and expedite things and Clinton would see the light and back off. But now, who needs 'em? Time to move on to McCain.
I'm sure Poblano will be all over this, but on the ARG blog now is this assertion from Dick Bennett:
From the CNN Exit polls, it appears that the race factor may have been a little overblown by the breathless reporting from West Virginia. I think what we're dealing with here is a lot of low-information voters who really like Bill Clinton. (And the Clintons knew it and used it.)
Well, I should make that: There's no reason to call for Clinton to drop out right now. Hypocrisy, you say? Not exactly. Read on.
I was just looking through the very last polls before Pennsylvania to see which one got it right. It looks like they pretty much all got it right.
