  •  This is unconscionable, if true. (4+ / 0-)

This news MUST get out!  Thank you for posting this urgent and important diary.

Every day, I feel like I have more and more egg all over my face, just knowing how many dollars and hours I spent volunteering to help get Obama elected.  His election is becoming a Con Job of cosmic proportions--quite tragically as this story alone might prove!

into electing Obama...and will do so again.   I had no illusions that he would be perfect.  So far, we have gotten some important things done.  I want to see that continued.
I didn't have to write this diary but I think it's important to see the truth and I will follow this story and report back to you all whatever it shows.  I think it's pretty apparent to most what would happen if we had a repub president...there's no contest.   I will work like hell for Obama...and if some don't or don't vote they will have nothing to complain about.

I am beyond thankful for groups like Earthjustice, Defenders of Wildlife, and others whose efforts in protecting wildlife, natural habitats and the environment continue around the clock--especially as they battle the giant Corporations in court.  I read all their emails, communications and contribute to them as much as I can--and then some!  Sadly, as the story you posted from the Guardian suggests, this Administration has continued way too many of the same heinous policies as its predecessor.  And in some cases, Interior Secretary Salazar has gone beyond what even the Bush Administration had attempted to do in unraveling or reversing legislation designed to protect wildlife and our natural resources.

I know all too well from what is going on in Wisconsin just how tragic the consequences can be when Democratic voters stay home during elections.  I will continue to work my tailbone off for REAL Democrats.  I cannot say that about President Obama.  He may be better than any Republican alternative, but as far as I am concerned, he can go to all of his cronies on Wall Street, at Exxon or any other Corporate lobbyist firm to continue lining his campaign chest.  I will contribute to other Democratic campaigns and candidates.

I don't believe in supporting Republicans, and frankly the differences between Obama and Bush aren't large enough for me.  I suppose your mileage may vary.  I've never voted anything but straight Democratic ticket when it was possible, but there is no way I am helping this crook.

Obama is a fascist.  So was Bush, of course.  I always wondered why Bush stepped down without a fight.  Now we know: the fix was in.
