    trying to decide if we're going to see a replay of Weimar Germany or Revolutionary France.  I don't want to witness either, frankly.

      Very few signs of revolution! I keep thinking of an old movie, Cabaret, about decadent liberals engaging in every manner of frivolity while the thugishness turns to violence around them.

        The SA and the NSDAP were doing very Teabaggy things back then, and it culminated in 1933.

        They didn't have a majority, yet there could not be a government without them.

        They tried to keep the cabinet as free as possible from NSDAPers, and the NSDAP got the Chancellor, but it was only a year before they forced everyone out, outlawed unions and political parties, killed off the more Socialist parts of the NSDAP, and then banned elections.

        And Germany became the nightmare of the world.

        That's what the Koch's want.
