  •  Aha....so at least we know his priorities (0+ / 0-)

paying bondholders off first apparently comes ahead of paying people who placed their hard earned money into medicare all these years (via the medicare tax). Gotcha.

Now before people accuse me of being  for default..no I am not, I just am sick and tired of this whole bullshit manufactured shock doctrine crisis.

Use the goddamn 14th Amendment and stop pushing austerity down our effin throats. t's amazing how he's selectively ignore the advice of his own lawyers when it suited his needs (hello he bombed libya).../end rant.

    stop playing games...stop making excuses.

    I. am. Done.

know his priorities unless and until Treasury is forced to pick and choose who to pay. All we know for sure is that the bond interest will be paid according to the requirement of the Constitution. There is still money after that for Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid, even unemployment checks as long as other things are stopped. We don't know what choices would be made until we see them made. Let's hope that a miracle occurs and we don't have to go there.

      •  But the gov't owes me my money (0+ / 0-)

from the contract I have with it saying it will take out money from me and pool it with others and then pay me back when I come due for it when I mature.

The medicare money goes into a trust fund and then the gov't can do what it wants with it...but  it has a debt  to me and millions of others too. That was my point.
