    it, and makes me enjoy it still is the ability to give Michael Valentine Smith a truly non-human point of view.

    His body was human, but Michael was Martian.

    It was an epiphany for me.

    Humanity comes not from what you are, but who you are.

      I read Stranger, my first Heinlein novel, when I was ten. I was a preacher's daughter. Warped me for life. Made me who I am.
