...as part of a stimulus (which by definition defers taxes + spends directly) is hardly a big ringing endorsement.  Not sure what 'truth' you're referring to here.  In any event, surely it depends on context, just like meaning does.

Seems like trying to hang this on Obama as 'democratic' policy is more of a distortion than anything else.

...of it, and Republicans are fighting tooth and nail to keep it.  Seems more relevant than its previous history of enactments / authorization / reauthorizations, no?

I'm not going to get into some kind of "who has the best rhetoric and spin" debate here.

If you don't see what I'm saying...or refuse to see it...then, hey, we don't really have anything to talk about here.  It would be a neverending back-and-forth.  I'm not thinking that would be anything positive.

I support Obama...I support dems in this.  I am pragmatic and realistic.  Sorry if that disgusts you.

        •  Huh? (0+ / 0-)

My point was that presenting the fact that the damn thing was reauthorized in the stimulus as if it were the whole truth of whether or O supports it artificially restricts the context to the point of being entirely unrealistic.

To put it more bluntly, this, of all things, seems unproblematic here.

Backatcha...I just don't see what you're trying to say.

            It's a problem.  If you don't see it...then....it's what you don't see.  I can't change that.
