  •  Um. Talk about the "Jobs Crisis" with (19+ / 0-)

the same weight, or more, as the "deficit crisis"?

    Urgent need for Jobs
    Dire Jobs situation
Here's our Demand Side plan to deal with the Jobs Emergency, vote Democratic to get it

etc. It is a bit more than strange that we're talking about the need to reduce expenses immediately upon reports of how entitlement cutbacks have damaged the budget issues (and people) of UK, Ireland, Iceland, Spain, etc etc...

and nothing whatsoever on the best fix: a meaningful (not Supply Side Tax Breaks bullshit) Jobs program.

Do we lose in 2010 if we had "Here's our Plan for you, vote Democratic in 2010"?

Do we win in 2012 without a serious Jobs push? Yeah, maybe the Republicans will run a lunatic. Then again, they've won with King George the Insane.

Why is addressing the number one & two issues, covering 2/3 of the electorate for the last two years -- Jobs & Real Economy -- not even mentioned as a priority. We use Republican frames instead for what's important. Why would that win voter's support, but addressing their concerns wouldn't?

Until we break the corporate virtual monopoly on what we hear and see, we keep losing, don't matter what we do.
