  •  Where is that information (0+ / 0-)

    coming from?

This is a dream come true for Republicans, teabaggers or not.

on CNN, citing ABC's The Note (I think - it was a few hours ago).

This holds out as true for me as I've seen the baggers coming forward saying they won't vote for it.  Lee in the Senate said it will need 60 votes to get out of the Senate - he's going to invoke his "right".

She said that Pelosi will deliver her caucus?  The information is moving quickly, but I believe I saw that the CPC and CBC are opposing the compromise bill.

I'm not sure I believe the teabaggers. I did see some of them coming out against this too but since it is such a win for them, I am suspicious that they are playing games.  Never know with them though as they are so crazy.

... and CPC and CBC are a big part of Pelosi's caucus.

        •  I saw where CPC and CBC (0+ / 0-)

were holding calls today and what have you but I didn't see where they said for certain.

And YES - Borger said that Pelosi will deliver her caucus.  I actually consider this whole thing to be far from over.

          •  I don't know if it's just wishful thinking (1+ / 0-)

but I don't buy the whole thing about Pelosi delivering her caucus. I wonder if Borger got it wrong.

I'm looking for more info on specifics about what CBC and CPC said last night.  I saw some members of both caucuses speak when I was at the Capitol on Thursday and they did not sound like they would go for anything that had cuts to SS/M/M in it, especially SS/Medicare. But you never know.  They all voted for the Reid bill a couple days later which had that commission in it, though they knew the Reid bill was already dead at that point.
