    the sequester would be divided equally between defense and non-defense program, and it would exempt Social Security, Medicaid, unemployment insurance, programs for low-income families, and civilian and military retirement.

    Don't know if I'm misreading it, but it seems to protect the military retirement.

      It doesn't mean you can't change it.

      I don't have a good feeling about this and I've learned to trust my feelings. I felt like I did when the public option started to fail. It's not good.
