    new, which begs the question, why the fuck haven't we been working to change that.

    Also, nothing new in this polling data. However, poll people issue by issue and a majority are actually liberal - if you focus on the issues.

    Ds see human suffering and wonder what they can do to relieve it. Rs see human suffering and wonder how they can profit from it.

      but we don't poll for whether an issue will sway their vote.

      For instance, you can cite many polls where people will both say they want to raise revenue and cut taxes.

      But then again, we seldom ask, how important is the issue in terms of how they are willing to vote.

      So, yes, they may want to increase the taxes of the wealthy  but ask them if they are willing to vote against those who won't increase the taxes of the wealthy and There IS where the truth is and what is actionable.

      I for one am tired of pandering to perpetrators --- many of whom are opposed to any discussion however it comes. -- soothsayer99 DPK Caucus
