Don't just get angry. Get organized. Let's make sure the Bush tax cuts for the rich are not extended. http://www.dailykos.com/story/2011/08/01/1000938/-Dont-just-get-angry-Get-organized-Lets-end-the-Bush-tax-cuts-for-the-rich!?via=siderecent

according to Andrea Mitchel, the progressive caucus is a no,

I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

Let the debt ceiling come down. Would anyone expect the President, in that case, not to invoke the 14th amendment and raise it? By voting no on the Progressive side perhaps if we help stop the bill he will take us a seriously as he does Teabaggers.

Then, we can start with a clean bill. One that is as fierce on raising corporate revenues as we can. One that makes reasonable cuts over the course of the next few years.

And we need Obama to pledge that he will let the Bush cuts expire. Make this his price for our support.
