    proposals that would go a long way towards building support even if the GOP didn't pass them. It he had followed that approach in his first 2 years, 2010 would have been a lot different.

    If there is no accountability for those who authorized torture, we can no longer say that we are a nation of laws, not men.

      He is going to be judged by how the economy did under his watch.

      And he is going to fail that test.

      He really has very little plausible room to argue for more government intervention to create jobs after pushing for austerity policies.
