    What is happening in Wisconsin should be a model for action in every other state.  I have given up on having any impact whatsoever on national politics.

      Which is not far enough, or should I say, local enough. Same old players (NPR, whatnot) and fascination with the big scoops and Pulitzers.

        but I think Josh Marshall and crew do a great job of real reporting, as does Rachel Maddow on TV.  And then there's The Nation.  But the reach of all of them is limited.
