    Oddly enough, that's when I stopped enjoying his books, beginning with Time Enough for Love....

    And no, I am not joking.  I still enjoy most of his work before Moon is a Harsh Mistress, and I can't stand most of what came after.

      I can't stomach really right-wingy stuff by any author and S/F has its share of conservative (warlike often) fiction and authors that cruise the libertarian side of politics. Part of that may be catering to a kind of adolescent breaking away lit.  I try hard not to let the politics of a story get in the road of a really good read.
