  •  How is this different from the left blogosphere? (0+ / 0-)

Just the other day, I read right here about Obama's "genetic" incapability, and that he was a monkey.

So really, is Fox News Nation any worse than the "true progressive" left blogosphere?

    •  Uh, yes. Fox News is far worse. (3+ / 0-)

First, I'd like to see a link to the 2 comments you quoted.

Second Fox is a 'news' organization, available 24x7 ready and able to pump out any sort of lies about President Obama, his administration, Democrats, and liberals alike.

Somehow, I don't think a post by someone at Kos about Obama written in an offensive way is not going to go anywhere beyond the blogosphere.

False equivalences is an excuse for not thinking critcally.

      •  NO genuine progressive blog (0+ / 0-)

would allow "monkey" to enter the conversation without a deluge of hiderates or whatever passes for hiderates at other sites.

Genetic incapability - well I could say my ex-husband was genetically incapable of telling the truth but that wouldn't mean it's because he's pasty white like me.

Democrats in Congress in general seem to be genetically incapable of recognizing the rabid gop for who they are and standing up to them.  Nothing about race in this comment.

Why is it that a 3% tax increase for the wealthy is considered "socialism" and an 8% wage cut for the middle class is "doing your part"? MartyM

        •  I wasn't talking about race (for once) my point (0+ / 0-)

was that nasty things said about Obama here doesn't go very far in the media world, unlike the venom spewed out from FOX 24x7.

And Democrats in Congress, being genetically incapable to stand up to Republicans I attribute that to the 'Stockholm Syndrome" and 'learned helplessness' neither of which are genetic traits.
