Do we really understand just what we're doing to ourselves when we keep framing our own history this way?  Who needs Frank Luntz when we keep inflicting enough damage of our own just by the way we ourselves tell the story of America?

Ronald Reagan won largely by luck, but partly by appealing to people's belief that we could solve our problems (the "solution" ultimately taking the form of More Stuff For The Majority, even if bought on credit).  They might not actually have been solved, but, well, sunshine wins.

The '60s were simply an attempt to get the 21st Century started early....Well, what are we waiting for? There's no deadline on a dream!
