    Walker is not the sort of guy who will take this as a warning and calm his shit down. He's likely to be more emboldened than ever, so he's likely to try imposing even more radical stuff in an undemocratic manner. That will be a bonus.

      the mass-scale protests will arise again, the marches on Madison by thousands.

      I say mass-scale because, of course, what people elsewhere may not know when Ed Schultz goes away is that the protests NEVER have stopped, still are daily in the state Capitol, still follow Walker wherever he goes in the state.

      The tinder is there.  Let Walker light the fire again and see what happens -- and he is sending signals that he does not want that to happen, as it makes him look like he can't govern.  So he has been slowed down, and that's a win.
