  •  Just remember than these were not part of the (8+ / 0-)

2010 wave, these were entrenched Republicans that got flipped.  I am willing to bet that next year  we could flip some of the new wave Republicans as well if badgers don't manage to fire Walker.

I still feel good about a Walker recall, very good.

If you think education is expensive, wait until you see how much stupid costs

    •  Walker numbers (6+ / 0-)

It will be interesting to compare these districts today to their vote for Walker.  I know that King, Pasch, Clark, and Schilling must have outperformed- Lacrosse County voted for Walker (barely) and I think Shilling took 55%.  Also numbers in Dane, Milwaukee County would be huge for Walker opponent and I think Walker got maximum votes in November.  No where for him to pick up votes while many areas to turn votes and increase.  Look at Winnebago and Fond du Lac today.  Fond du Lac was 46% for King yet only 35% for Barrett and Winnebago was around 54% King yet only 45% Walker.  Also state senators have built up good-will- Cowles, Olson, Darling, and Olsen have been around for at least 15 years.  That two were recalled is a victory.  Wirch should easily win next week- hoping for Holperin.
