Ozaukee County, Washington County, and Waukesha County are what saved her conveniently after they all made sure they had enough votes. I remember reading that there are four counties that go by Waukesha County's system -- two of them are Ozaukee and Washington County.

in Milwaukee County to 62.1% this year.  It wasn't just due to changes in the three Republican counties, although the GOP picked up ground in each of them as well.  This was an actual defeat.  It was funded by an amazing onslaught by the Koch's and Co., but the SD-8 race is still an actual defeat.

In my avatar, the blue bars show how many want Reps who COMPROMISE; the aqua bars show who wants Reps who STAND FAST no matter what. (Left=Overall; Center=Democrats; Right=Republicans.) And there's the problem!

down in turn out. I just find it convenient in every election that those counties are the last to report, as if they're watching Dane County and Milwaukee County the entire time so they know exactly what to pick up.

That being said, I don't think Pasch would have represented the new district well anyway, no Milwaukee in it.

is a scandal and an abomination.  Teenagers could have counted 11 precincts faster.

I don't care how well Pasch would have represented it.  The bluer the better!

I do not believe Waukesha County results any more.  You guys in Wisconsin have to do something about that.  You need Democrats hovering over every precinct in that state maintaining the chain of custody which the County board of elections refuses to maintain.

Read pp. 1-7 of Krugman's _The Great Unraveling_ (available from Google Books). NOW.

Or Ozaukee or Washington County. They always have a ridiculously high turn out rate, when my friends who live down there say otherwise, refuse anyone to watch them go in and out, almost everything really.

Pasch never stood a chance against Darling, she has those counties there.
