  •  so what happens AFTER this committee decides (0+ / 0-)

whatever they are going to decide...  it STILL has to go before the entire congress...right?

and if I am right about the entire congress what happens if the committee 'package' does NOT pass?  Do those 'triggers' get pulled in that case also?

what I am asking is this... can CONGRESS by vote or lack thereof reject whatever the committee decides on?? and if congress can and DOES reject it WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?

Another bill which revokes the Defense cuts that passes with bipartisan support. And the president gets raise the debt ceiling all by himself. And then two resolutions of disapproval of him doing.

And then an all around further erosion of confidence in government.

      •  HI BBB, so congress CAN reject the committee (0+ / 0-)

outcome?  the triggers ONLY get pulled if the committee cannot COME to an outcome? or are you saying that if congress doesnt rubber stamp the committee decisions the triggers ARE pulled at that point also?

sorry for being so dense today :)

I already knew about the ability to reappropriate whatever gets cut from defense (sigh)
