      11-dimension chess, blah, blah, blah.  Obama caved on everything, blah, blah, blah.  Failed Leadership, blah, blah, blah.

      In reality, I think you're on to something; in the final analysis, Congress now has to shit or get off the pot: Either pass something that will fly, or face consequences that no one likes and look bad doing it.  I think this was designed precisely to box the baggers in, and I think that was Congressional Leadership's intention.  It gives them political cover with the psychotic wing of the Republican Party, or at least they hope it does.

        McConnell has the DeMint contingent and Boehner has too many Baggers to control. My guess is that they made some kind of short term deal with the Dems and Obama to green light this.
