the guy captured by the FBI in Minnesota one month before 9-11.  They had his laptop w/ most of the 9-11 plan on it, but couldn't get the CIA higher ups to push for a Court Order to look at the data!

The French had a file on Mousaawi 14 inches thick, documenting his terrorist ties but the CIA claims THEY HAD NO CREDIBLE EVIDENCE to look on his laptop!

Which is why the bushcos started the bullshit about Freedom Fries, to further diss the French.  The revelation of the French Mousaawi file came to the CIA from the HEAD of French Intelligence--not some street-level snitch, as the bush people claimed!

My best guess was a reflection that did not look back, an image lost in every mirror.

Colleen Rowly was pushng for it, but was denied.  She was one of three women who as a result was picked by Time for person of the year.

There's more blame by far on the F.B.I. side of the river. She wrote a 13-page memo that details the main failures and what was wrong at The Bureau.

        Six pages were released.

Coleen Rowley's Memo to FBI Director Robert Mueller -- An edited version of the agent's letter.

FBI HQ sabotaged efforts to obtain the requisite search warrant. Title 18 had clearly been violated -- the warrant could have been obtained in a half-hour 24/7.

Ultimately, the bastards at fault were removed. The new Office of Intelligence was created, replacing the previous crew virtually 100%.

However, she also put herself and her family at risk to inform the C.I.A. personally that an airliner suicide-hijacking scheme was underway involving this Zacarias Moussaoui and his laptop.

-- All those guys had to do was put the issue into the Daily Briefing.

-- A Presidential Directive could have been issued the same morning.

Also, Zacarias Moussaoui was readily available.
        There was time.

America doesn't have enough medals to give Colleen to measure what she did. We lost a lot of lives and she was the one person who gave it all trying to save them.

        God bless.
