    Great Depression. It helped propel the policy changes that helped address the Depression.

    Also, judging lots of people on the basis of what two people did doesn't make much sense.

    Grievances are either legitimate or they aren't. You can object to how people act, but that has nothing to do with whether the cause is just.

    Politics is the art of the possible, but that means you have to think about changing what is possible, not that you have to accept it in perpetuity.
