Obama got what, 53% last time?  Now, with the economy in the shitter, UE over 9%, GDP crawling along at 1-2%, he will get more votes??

No freakin' way.. it will be a nail biter at best.. at worst, it will be a GOP blowout.. this is shaping up to be 1980 all over again.

    •  Pizza wager if you (0+ / 0-)

would like.  This is going to be the easiest free pizza I ever won though if you do.  The demographics are massively in his favor.  Think 1984.  Only Reagan is Obama.

      •  What demographics are you talking about? (0+ / 0-)

You can only win blue states once..

        •  The whole electorate is bluing (0+ / 0-)

S.C., GA, even TX itself is in play.  I predict even if Perry is the nominee Obama will have a shot at TX.

I think you're a little early on your shift to blue.  Were you around for 2010?

          •  Oh really? (0+ / 0-)

Did you see how red Florida went?   Georgia?  You're joking again...

S.C. - maybe.. but McCain won SC 54% to Obama's 45%.  Obama's NLRB attack on SC labor against Boeing has not endeared him in the hearts and minds of the voters there.

At this point, Obama can barely make 270 electoral votes.. and that's with no opponent.
