    It's concentrated in the DC area. They are not a majority by any means, but they've go the influence, and thru years of concerted effort, have changed the conventional wisdom.

      ..so a tiny minority of criminals concentrated in the DC area like to hear Michelle Bachmann & Barack Obama opine about cutting SS & Medicare.

      That leaves around 150 million active voters in the 50 states not D.C. that Bachmann & Obama are left to contend with when they pimp this ignorant bullshit.

      When Fascism comes to America it will be wrapped in excess body fat and carrying a misspelled sign.

        because "everybody knows" that the programs are unsustainable.

        As a matter of fact, Medicare has some pretty big problems, reflective of the rising health care costs in the US that we still haven't confronted in a way that matches the problem.

        But are there solutions that don't hurt beneficiaries? Of course there are! How do we get serious discussion of smarter policy choices? Right now I'm stumped.
