    To see how President Obama's policies will affect black PEOPLE we'll need to analyze more than one of them.

    For the American people overall, Presidents have been leaving them with less opportunity and protections, and the rich and business with more, for decades.

    If Mr. Obama can break that pattern he's going to be in very rare company.

      I think we should listen to all communities of color. The real question is why does he remain wildly popular in these communities despite the efforts of the DK Left, and a few elites and has-beens that the DK left love to pretend are within the mainstream of the communities they claim to be concerned about?

      That question needs to be dealt with, not dismissed or diminished, if there is going to be a real Progressive Movement, that is people-powered and believes in change from the bottom up.
