  •  So when do we and how, specifically, do we start? (2+ / 0-)

Shanty Sue is into replacing religion which has usually been male oriented, with the Grandmothers' wisdom.  I'm not a super spiritual person, but can be in some ways.
I'm into doing things cooperatively -- living, working (very few people do that now.

Maybe we need to open more centers where women can ahng out with our kids so they see these female centered places as a "home' where they can go for there strength and values.  As far as electing women to parliament, I'd rather start at the local level of politics and work up, with a whole new party --who knows?  I'm not sure I have the answers, but, if some people out there do, I'll jump on board.  But we need specifics and concrete projects and actions to get there.

    •  I'm not religious at all, but I live in spirit (0+ / 0-)

I feel a connectedness with earth and humanity and to me that is spirit.

Like you, what I mostly want is to live cooperatively.

We all have ideas. It's just a matter of communicating them. That's why I love this group and the cooperativism group.

To me we have started. With each week, I grow more.
