  •  Actually, one of my clients is a charter school (0+ / 0-)

    and everytime I go there, I'm shocked at how young, energetic and motivated the teachers seem.  Most of my clients are public school districts, and the attitude of the teachers is night and day.  Of course the charter school staff is very accountable too, and like most professional employees, they can be fired if their performance is deemed inadequate.  They're acually treated pretty well, except that the salaries and benefits are lower.  

    This is one area where I disagree with the majority of bloggers on DKOS, but it's the public school teacher model that is unsustainable.

      That makes perfect sense.

      Mayan culture was strong enough to save the Mayan people from Mayan civilization.
