        and unified line with the Democratic party?  I'm not remembering anything but division and a lot of people saying "Oh no, you mustn't oppose fill in the blank with corporate Democrat's name or a Republican will get in!  Dear God, you will be responsible for the destruction of our society!"

        And what would you suggest--climbing back into the veal pen and saying "yes sir, yes ma'am, how many doors would you like knocked today?  And would sir like a white wine with that?"

        Just b/c Trumka seems willing to do that doesn't mean we should follow his lead.

          I have much less of a problem with the "hard line" than with the Democratic Party.  Read my diaries -- they express where I'm coming from, loud and clear.
