    but that doesn't mean that your mom or mone must go to an ICU instead of accepting a living will and hospice. That's reduction in cost, increased dignity and not a death panel at all.

    And it happens in areas where the docs direct foilks to hospice and away form ICUs. Oregon comes to mind.

      She has chosen to die with dignity, and I don't disagree.  But, again, it is her choice... not my choice to make for her.  

      I don't have one, but need to do one.  Sooner v. later, BTW.
